As the band exists in animated form, it seems natural that they are creating a movie and it isn’t the first time the band has considered the option of creating a movie. Gorillaz attempted to make a movie in 2003 slated “Celebrity Harvest” two years following the success of the Gorillaz debut album but scrapped the project due to creative differences.
The release date has yet to be disclosed but Netflix is known for quick animated productions so it should be available on the streaming app soon.
