Oh boy, is this a blooper for the broadcasting history books.
BBC’s Norman Smith made one hell of a blooper on Thursday while talking about UKIP’s Nigel Farage.
Smith was attempting to quote Patrick O’Flynn, the former UKIP communications chief, who warned that the party is poised to become “an absolutist monarchy and personality cult.” Unfortunately, pronouncing word “cult” posed a bit of a problem for Smith.
