Netflix will release two sequels to “Knives OUt”
Netflix makes a deal for two sequels to the 2019 murder mystery movie “Knives Out” starring Daniel Craig while co-directing with Rian Johnson. The “Knives Out” sequel deal will be reprising the role of Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc to co-direct with the original director and writer Rian Johnson.

Johnson wrote and directed the original “Knives Out” movie as well as writing the sequels working with producing partner Ram Bergman. This over $400 million streaming deal is expected to break records as the biggest streaming movie deal in history with Netflix competing with other major streaming companies.
The streaming deals were the center of a discreet auction between three major streaming companies including Apple, Amazon, and Netflix. The original 2019 “Knives Out” movie deal by MCR was distributed by Lionsgate that cost $40 million and grossed $311 million in box office sales.

Netflix is already planning for production with casting beginning immediately and plans to start filming on June 28 in Greece. The representatives of Craig and Johnson, CAA, is currently brokering the deal with limited details with the anticipation this deal should range up to $450 million.
