Remembering Late Disney Star Cameron Boyce
Disney has been getting a lot of good news and making headway in a lot of its plans this year and in the coming years, but unfortunately, some sad news also follows as a member of the Disney family has passed away.
Actor Cameron Boyce, who starred in many Disney Channel’s television shows and series, has died at age 20. A spokesperson for his family said that Boyce died in his sleep after having a seizure.
“It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron,” the spokesperson said. “He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.”
The family also issued a statement, saying, “The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
Boyce starred in the television show “Jessie” alongside Debby Ryan, as well as “Mirrors,” “Eagle Eye” alongside Shia LaBeouf and “Grown Ups” alongside Adam Sandler. Many people also know Boyce for his role in “Descendants” as Cruella De Vil’s teenage son, Carlos.
