$5,000 a Night in Europe’s Most Expensive Hotel, Hiding in Iceland
Somewhere in the most isolated corner of Iceland, there is a hotel so remote that some guests arrive by helicopter. It costs $5,000 a night. The minimum stay is three nights. And Justin Bieber called it the best trip of his entire life.
So naturally, Chris had to find out what they were hiding.
After a six-hour drive from Reykjavik, through snow-capped valleys with barely another car in sight, he arrived at Deplar Farm. A former working sheep farm turned into one of the most expensive hotels on the continent.
And the secret? It is not about the room.
Within hours of arriving, Chris was on a helicopter heading to a private mountain for heli-skiing. The next day brought e-biking across the valley, a session in a fully equipped music studio (the same one Justin Bieber reportedly recorded in), sea kayaking beside seals in flat Arctic waters, and a whale-watching tour where a 50ft humpback surfaced just meters from the boat.
The hotel has nearly 4 staff per guest. When Chris casually mentioned wanting a coffee on the way back from a kayak session, one was waiting for him the moment he walked through the door.
That is the whole point of Deplar Farm. It is not a hotel you stay in. It is a hotel you disappear into.
Chris went in skeptical. He left stunned. Watch the full video to see every insane moment from the trip.
