Anticipating Fans Wait Hours For New Ride
Of all the rides one can ride at Universal Studios, this new Harry Potter ride by far has garnered the most interest and the longest wait time.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has officially opened, and since officially being introduced to the public, riders have allegedly waited in line for as long as 10 hours just for a chance to ride the new roller coaster. Fans even started lining up in the pre-dawn hours.
The ride has opened midday to ensure that it gets the proper daily maintenance and technical support.
In a statement about the new roller coaster, Universal said, “Hagrid’s Magic Creatures Motorbike Adventure is even more popular than we could have imagined – and we’ve been working hard to make sure everyone who wants to ride gets to do so.”
To celebrate the magic and the debut of Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, some of the stars of the “Harry Potter” films made an appearance and got to be among the first to ride the roller coaster. Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), and Warwick Davis (Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook) all came out to celebrate the new coaster.
