Seven goals. A Raphinha hat-trick. Another unforgettable night at Camp Nou.
FC Barcelona produced a breathtaking attacking display to defeat Racing Santander 7-2 and continue their perfect start to the LaLiga season.
Barça set the tone from the opening minutes. João Cancelo broke the deadlock with a spectacular long-range strike that crashed in off the crossbar, giving the home crowd an early reason to celebrate.
Raphinha soon took center stage.
The Brazilian converted from the penalty spot before adding another goal just before half-time. Racing briefly threatened through Maguette Gueye, but a deflected Cancelo effort resulted in an own goal by Asier Villalibre and kept Barcelona firmly in control.
Racing found the net again through Yassir Zabiri after the break, but Barcelona’s response was immediate and ruthless.
Raphinha scored his second penalty of the match to complete a superb hat-trick. Gabriel Jesus then curled a beautiful finish into the top corner before Lamine Yamal completed the scoring in the closing minutes.
It was another commanding performance from a Barcelona side playing with confidence, intensity, and a relentless desire to attack.
The result gives Barça six victories from their opening six LaLiga matches, with 28 league goals already scored. They remain at the top of the table with a perfect 18 points.
Barcelona have also won all seven of their matches across every competition this season, making this one of the most impressive starts in the club’s history.
Nine goals, spectacular finishes, and nonstop action.
