When extinguishing someone else’s young love, it’s important to remember that you never really know who is going to grow up to have the attention of a stadium full of teenage girls desperate to do their bidding.
Harry Styles’ former classmate, Jack Robinson, came to One Direction‘s concert in Oslo. Styles made sure to introduce Robinson to the crowd via Jumbotron, then dropped in a little anecdote about teenage betrayal.
“I’m going to tell you a quick little story before we do the next song. When I was about 14 years old, Jack Robinson stole my girlfriend,” Styles told his adoring fans. “So if he is still there at the end of the show, feel free…little kicks, little digs on the way out. Jack Robinson, love you, sir.”
Against all odds, Robinson made it out of the venue alive.
