New ‘Indiana Jones’ Film Coming Soon
Harrison Ford may be closing in on the age of 80, but he’s got the life and spirit of a 20-year-old ready to go on an adventure. And that’s exactly what Ford is going to do. The famous Hollywood actor, known for playing the iconic role of Indiana Jones, says he is not done with the role just yet, confirming that he will be returning for another installment of the series.
The fifth Indiana Jones movie will begin filming in April 2020 and is currently eyeing a summer 2021 release. Also returning for the fifth movie is none other than the famous man behind the scenes for all the previous films – Steven Spielberg.
The film was originally supposed to begin filming back in April of his year, but Disney had issues with the movie’s script.
Ford will, of course, not be playing a young Indy, and the man himself previously said earlier this year that “Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones, don’t you get it? I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy.”
So the possibility of an Indiana Jones reboot with a different actor playing the role seems slim as of right now. But then again, who could replace Harrison Ford?
