Not too long ago Alex Rossi wrote his name in the history books for winning the 100th Running of the Indy 500 and taking his first Verizon IndyCar Series win in style. This race was a huge race in sports considering it was won by a rookie from California. Now if you know a thing or two about sports you know that President Obama makes a call to all the champions of important games and races. However, recently sports that are more popular such as basketball, baseball, and football seem to be stealing the spotlight leaving no room on the presidents calendar to make a phone call to Rossi….and Rossi is pretty hurt about it. “That’s the most American thing we coulda done – 100th running of the Indy 500 in Indianapolis, American won.
