A mattress company in Texas did one of the only things you probably shouldn’t do in America; and that’s use one of the biggest terror attacks in our nations history to sell mattresses.
But okay, let’s say the sale is no big deal and just a convenient weekend for them to do this promotion. Well, if this is the situation probably don’t make a commercial of two people crashing into twin mattress piles. Yes, you read that right, a commercial about a 9/11 sale with two people crashing into twin mattress piles.
Okay so lets say the commercial came out wrong and the mattresses aren’t falling to mimic the horrifying terror attack most of us lived through. Hey, maybe she just accidentally hit them and they didn’t have time for another take. That was obviously high-grade acting I believed it; maybe the actors were too expensive to book any longer! Let’s just say that falling into two stacks of twin mattresses is their gimmick and they do it in all of their commercials and it’s all a big misunderstanding. Well… Then it is probably best not to hash tag #twinsale #worldtradecenter #neverforget.
ROOKIE MOVE! COME ON GUYS! At least the woman who caused the whole crash very earnestly said “Never Forget” while staring into your soul at the end. That wasn’t creepy AT ALL.
Texas hasn’t been this upset about someone being un-American since that time the Dixie Chicks hated Bush so much. We tried to figure out the best way to make this look like a misunderstanding, but there just isn’t a way. Take a look at the video yourself and let us know how you feel in the comments below!
