Families Are No Longer The Top Majority Of Disney Park Fans
Everyone loves a good Disney film, and when they get to live out their childhood fantasies right at one of the Disney Parks, it’s a magical dream come true. So, naturally, a lot of people, parents and childless couples flock to Disney World to get their Disney fix. But in one Facebook rant by a mother that recently went viral challenges the notion that childless millennials should be allowed to visit the parks.
The mother, whose identity has remained anonymous, went on to say how childless millennials should be banned from the parks and that Disney should only allow parents and couples with children to enter. Many were quick to point out how ridiculous that sounds because Disney is for everyone and caters to adults as much as it does children.
Since it’s opening in 1971, Disney World has been the destination of choice for many across the country and a surefire way for people to create lasting memories. But ticket prices are high, (well over $100 per person), but the parks are working to hard to cater to adult visitors who don’t have children to give them an equally enjoyable experience.
And in doing so, the parks have added several new attractions that will appeal to nostalgic millennials, including reviving several retro attractions. Additionally, a lot of adults like to flock to the Disney parks because of all the things to do and see; there’s always something new to taste, a fantastic character to meet, and of course, Disney is the perfect place to get that perfect shot for Instagram.
