Milky Way gives you a bit of sweet and salty in new candy bar
If you’re not yourself when you’re hungry, instead of grabbing a Snickers, why not grab a Milky Way Salted Caramel bar? The new candy bar will be hitting shelves in 2020, but according to a representative of the brand, customers will be able to try “share-size” versions of the new flavor starting this October.
For the candy fanatic in the family, this is not Milky Way’s first caramel-filled candy offering, but it remains unclear whether the new flavor will feature actual salt inside of the caramel or mixed throughout the candy bar.
Milky Way is a classic candy bar for the candy fanatic that loves a mix of nougat, caramel, and chocolate. The Milky Way Salted Caramel bar will officially launch in January 2020. Not much information has been released about the new chocolate flavor, but a Milky Way representative said that the bar will officially roll out in all different sizes, including six-pack fun-size packages next year.
Starting in October though, eager snackers will be able to buy the chocolate at Walmart, which will be selling “share-size” (3.16-ounce) versions of the salted-caramel bar.
Unfortunately, Milky Way has not confirmed whether the new salty and sweet flavor will be a permanent addition to the brand’s line-up.
