DQ Celebrating The American Moon Landing
When it comes to Dairy Queen, nothing is out of this world; it’s just delicious. But as of late, DQ has certainly been the most creative in the ice cream industry, especially when the ice cream chain released the Royal Baby Blizzard and the Cupfection Sundae.
But just in time for the heat of summer, Dairy Queen is back with a new creation, and it’s one that will help Americans all across the nation celebrate one of the country’s biggest accomplishments ever: landing on the moon.
Oreo, which DQ is partnering with, launched a new “marshmallow moon” cookie, and for the Queen, it was announced via Twitter that the ice cream chain would be selling a limited-edition new Blizzard, which they’re calling the “Zero Gravity Blizzard.”
The “Zero Gravity Blizzard” is “made with Oreo cookie pieces, sparkly cosmic swirls and sweet cotton candy topping blended with our world-famous soft serve and topped with colorful galaxy sprinkles,” according to the announcement.
The soft serve ice cream chain’s newest frozen treat is in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
Although said to be limited-edition, it is still unclear to what extent. Are you ready to be launched into space with this delicious new ice cream?
