Want to grab some drinks while paying homage to Deadpool?
With anticipation for the Deadpool sequel, Fox partnered with Mike’s Harder to open a promotional pop-up bar.
Williamsburg’s Alligator Lounge was transformed into Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls (the dispatch center for mercenaries) and Wade Wilson’s favorite bar in the films.
The decorations to make the event more authentic include: the dead pool board behind the bar, a Sister Margaret’s neon sign, and a Deadpool spray-painted logo at the entrance.
For the festivities there were Deadpool themed air-brush temporary tattoo bar, playing darts with shooting range and The Strain character cutouts, comics, free drinks, and a group of for-hire-bikers. Of course there we’re many fans in Deadpool costumes and Ryan Reynolds was unable to make an appearance.
There is another planned pop-up event for Deadpool 2 in Los Angeles, California coming soon.
