Ryan Reynolds Might Be The New Tarzan
It’s only August but we still have a lot of the year left, and Disney is showing no signs of slowing down with its library of fantastic classics that they want to reimagine into live-action films. Already we have “Maleficent” sequel slated to hit theaters in just a few months and “The Lady and the Tramp” coming to Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.
So, whether you’re a fan of them or not, Disney’s live-action re-imaginings are going to be a thing of the foreseeable future.
With so many films under the House of Mouse, it’s hard to know what’s coming next. But rumors have it that the next live-action remake the studios are eyeing is “Tarzan.” Excitingly, it was confirmed this week that Disney is in the process of developing a live-action remake of their 1999 animated classic, and Ryan Reynolds is said to be on the studio’s wish list to play the lead role.
Of course, the project is still in the early stages of development, therefore it is unclear if the studio has even reached out to the Deadpool actor yet. But with the news circulating, we can expect a hilarious social media post from Reynolds soon.
