Experience Viveland: A VR Arcade

Arcades as we know it are pretty much extinct…and we wish they would come back! With that being said, we remain hopeful that VR will be the vehicle at which they can make a comeback!

Viveland is HTC’s first dedicated VR arcade and it is located in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan! It’s awesome because for about $7 you can play all different types of games. But are these experiences enough for users to keep coming back week after week? Some believe only if you can play with friends. The single player experience wasn’t as fun as playing in a room filled with your friends. So if HTC can realize that it’s the social component that matters the most they will be successful.
