If you’re a fan of breakfast food, then you’ll probably be excited to hear that Wicked Weed Brewing created a stout that’s supposed to taste like French toast. According to the brewery, the Barrel Aged French Toast Imperial Stout is brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.
“Bourbon Barrel Aged French Toast Imperial Stout is a delicious testament to smoldering intensity,” the company website states. “Prepare for the smooth vanilla, zesty cinnamon, and sweet maple syrup of the original to be epically enhanced by the finest Kentucky bourbon barrels. This sweet treat’s time in oak barrels has forged an entirely new creation. Taste this beauty after its Bourbon-barrel transformation, and give in to sweet intensity.”
But that’s not the only beer Wicked Weed Brewing created this year to cater to your newfound seasonal obsession. The Asheville, North Carolina-based brewing company also brought back Hop Cocoa beer.
It’s “a smooth porter” that combines chocolate with the company’s Wicked Weed-style dark beer.
“Roasted cocoa nibs combine with bright, citrusy hops to create a silky-smooth balance of bright hops and indulgent chocolate,” the product listing for the beer states.
Other yummy flavors that would be worth a try include the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Milk & Cookies and the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dark Age Coffee.
