Lady Gaga takes on new acting role for ‘Gucci’ film
A star was literally born for Lady Gaga’s first major film role in “A Star Is Born” leaving fans wanting to see the pop artist again on the silver screen. It seems that the fans will be seeing more of Gaga’s acting talents in the upcoming Ridley Scott film ‘Gucci.’
Gaga will be playing the role of the murderess Patrizia Reggiani and will start filming in Italy starting March. Reggiani is an infamous socialite that gained her status after marrying Maurizio Gucci, the head of the Gucci brand successor in 1983 following the death of his uncle Rodolfo Gucci.
After two years of leading the Gucci brand, Maurizio Gucci left his wife in 1985 claiming he was going on a business trip and never returned while starting a relationship with a younger woman. In 1991 the couple finalized the divorce and in 1995 Reggiani paid a hitman to kill Maurizio outside of his office.

Reggiani was ultimately convicted of Maurizio Gucci’s murder, serving 26 years in prison until her release in 2016 due to good behavior. Ridley Scott plans on bringing this story to life with a star-studded cast alongside Gaga.
The cast includes Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, and more. Scott will start working on the ‘Gucci’ project after wrapping his current production of ‘The Last Duel’ starring Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jodie Comer, and Adam Driver.
Before Gaga gets into filming, she’s on social media advocating for people to vote in the upcoming 2020 General Election. Gaga addresses the 2020 Election on Instagram to show support for everyone through this rough time in history regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Gaga is working with the non-profit organization, TurboVote.org, to promote more people registering to vote or requesting a mail-in ballot. TurboVote also provides a daily notification system until Election Day making it easier for voters to cast their ballots in time.
Along with promoting TurboVote, Gaga created a catchy yet cheesy jingle to remind people what they will need to learn more about voting in their area.
