The mom-to-be is glowing and reliving her days as a Hollywood star!
The Duchess of Sussex attended the British Fashion Awards in London on Monday night to present Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller — the designer of her wedding gown — with the British Designer Womenswear Award. But more than making headlines for her surprise appearance, Meghan made headlines with her belly
Meghan walked out wearing a black formfitting, one-shouldered Givenchy gown that was both elegant and chic.
In her speech, Keller said that she “got to know Meghan on such a personal level. And to have someone like that trust you in an incredible moment in their life is something that is just the most unbelievable honor, and I can’t thank you enough because it was just the most beautiful moment. Thank you.”
Meghan introduced Keller and acknowledged the “familiar faces” she’s gotten to know since she living in England.
“As all of you in this room know, we have a deep connection to what we wear,” Meghan said, as she introduced Keller. “Sometimes it’s very personal, sometimes it’s emotional. But for me, this connection is rooted in really being able to understand that it’s about supporting and empowering each other, especially women.”
After her surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards, Meghan let her royal guard down by indulging in a photo booth session with the artistic director of Givenchy Claire Waight Keller and actress Rosamund Pike. In the black-and-white boomerang shared on Instagram by the British Fashion Council, Meghan can be seen flashing a shy smile while cradling her baby bump next to Waight Keller and Pike.
