Lego Pop-Up Bar Visits Miami Soon
We have all sorts of Lego movies and even a Legoland theme park in Florida, but South Florida is about to get one more addition to the Lego family in the coming months.
Brick Bar, a Lego-themed pop-up bar, is headed to Miami for just two nights this October. According to the pop-up’s website, the bar is to appeal to Lego fans of legal drinking age. Similar bars have debuted in Australia thanks to Viral Ventures, the Sydney-based company behind the concept.
Over the next year, Brick Bar will arrive in 15 cities. U.S. stops include Los Angeles, New York, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Dates are slated from June to November.
The two-night venue will feature more than one million colorful blocks catered to grown-up kids of legal drinking age. Real kids are welcome but must be accompanied by someone at least 21-years-old.
The location of the Miami venue has yet to be confirmed, but tickets for the three-day October pop-up are to go on sale several weeks before the opening. New York’s and Los Angeles’ upcoming pop-ups cost $25 for a 90-minute window, so expect Miami’s will most likely be similarly priced.
There will be brick-inspired burgers (think colorfully square buns), cocktails, lounge areas, a ball pit and a fountain made of the colorful bricks. The bar will also have a table tennis competition played on a Lego built table with more than 22,000 bricks.
