“The Great British Bakeoff” with a floral twist
The streaming service has already planted the seeds for your next binge-worthy UK competition show.
Formatted in a similar fashion to “The Great British Bake Off,” Netflix’s new eight-part series called “The Big Flower Fight” will show ten duos including florists, sculptors and garden designers go head to head as they compete in a series of themed challenged to create beautiful large-scale flower arrangements.
Each episode will test the competitors in a different set of creative and practical skills, touching on everything from basic floristry to elaborate landscaping. Materials used to create each installation will vary week-by-week, and participants will be challenged and encouraged to think about which plants are beneficial to the environment.
The competition will increase in intensity and one team will be eliminated every week. Every week, the celebrity florist will be joined by a guest judge to evaluate the floral arrangements.

The series was commissioned by Netflix’s Lucy Leveugle and Nathaniel Grouille and created by Multistory Media’s Group Creative Director Ana de Moraes and “This Time Next Year” producer Twofour. “The Big Flower Fight” is executive produced by Simone Haywood, Head of Factual Entertainment, and Susanne Rock.
