Snoop says he’s on his way
A senior from a Jackson senior living center in Tennessee expressed her wish of meeting Snoop Dogg, and the rapper had the best response for her. Taking to Instagram to express his surprise, Snoop Dogg referred to the elderly woman as “granny” and shared a photo of the woman in a wheelchair wiring a face mask and holding a neon sign that read “I wanna see Snoop Dogg.”
In response to her request, the rapper captioned the photo with, “…on my way, granny.” The A-list rapper went on to attach his photo and added in some goofy words and a series of laughing emojis to lighten the mood.
“It’s been so tense… for a quick laugh! Granny said she wanna see the SN double OP!,” Snoop Dogg wrote. Fans have since shared the photo all over social media expressing their happiness and enthusiasm for the granny’s wish and for Snoop Dogg’s response.
Northbrooke, the Jackson senior living center, has been at work trying to put their residents at ease during the coronavirus pandemic. Because the aged residents are unable to see their families, the living center organized a drive-thru parade where different families in attendance did a ceremonial drive-thru.
It was during this parade that families came upon “granny” holding up her sign. It’s likely that granny’s wish may come true because Snoop Dogg is scheduled to perform in Jackson in July.
