Star Wars makeup collab is one the way
How long has it been since Pat McGrath collaborated with the Star Wars franchise to release a makeup collection? Four years!
But fans of the makeup brand no longer have to wonder when the next release will be because the iconic makeup artist is creating a Pat McGrath Labs x Star Wars collection, and this time, it is inspired by the upcoming movie “The Rise of Skywalker” due for premiere this month.
The new makeup collection includes four new lip shades and three new palettes. The movie inspired lip shades to include Lip Fetish Lip Balm in Flesh 3 (rosy nude), Clear (a Stormtrooper-inspired white), Nude, and Gold Astral (glittery beige), all of which retail for $40.
The palettes include a Mothership IV: Decadence Eye Palette, which sells for $125, plus two six-pan palettes: Dark Galaxy palette and a Galactic Gold palette, which retail for $65.
“We are so excited to work with Disney on this brilliant collaboration celebrating the intergalactic beauty of Star Wars: Episode IX–The Rise of Skywalker,” McGrath said in a statement.
McGrath went on to say that she is a fan of Star Wars and further mentioned how the franchise has become integrated into our culture in a major way.
The collection will first drop in Selfridge’s on Dec. 13 but will be available and will ship internationally on Dec. 26.
