Samuel L. Jackson explains his Ben Carson tweet and why he isn't afraid of Trump

Samuel L. Jackson has been outspoken about his political views on Twitter — from feuds with Trump to tweets advocating civil rights.

The actor paid a visit to the Late Late Show to promote his upcoming film, Kong: Skull Island. When James Corden asked him about his recent tweet about Ben Carson’s speech, which described slaves as ‘immigrants,’ Jackson was happy to break it down.

In the video above, Jackson tells Corden that he essentially needed to call out the obvious inaccuracies in Carson’s speech, and he also said he isn’t intimidated by Trump because you can’t fear a man who doesn’t know how to spell check. Touché, Jackson.
