Women always want to feel like royalty, but no they officially can because Buckingham Palace is selling a replica of Meghan Markle’s engagement ring. Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle with a trilogy diamond ring featuring two diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection and a middle stone sourced from Botswana. The ring is both sentimental and priceless with a reported worth of up to $350,000.
The actual ring is way out of most people’s price range, but Buckingham Palace‘s Royal Collection, the group in charge of its official gift shop, has released a new collection of statement jewelry. The collection includes a “Buckingham Palace Statement Ring” inspired by Meghan Markle’s engagement sparkler, which people can get for a fraction of the price.
The palace is offering the ring as part of a commemorative selection of goods dedicated to the royal wedding. The affordable replica of the Duchess’s engagement ring features three diamonds and an adjustable band. The ring, which is made of palladium instead of gold, can also be worn as a set with matching earrings and pendant, according to the palace website.
While Meghan Markle’s jewelry has been replicated for the mass market, surprisingly, the Royal Collection has yet to create a reproduction of the Duchess of Cambridge’s ring despite her style being more popular than Markle’s among shoppers.
