See your favorite retro Nintendo hero leap out of the video game world and into the real world.
In our third installment of “DIY Costume Squad,” master DIY-er Benjamin Martin takes affordable, accessible items and turns them into a legit Mega Man costume, complete with a homemade light-up blaster and helmet. With a little spray paint, inexpensive plastic containers and thrift store threads, you can have your own epic suit, too — like a cartoon come to life.
Subscribe to Mashable YouTube for new episodes of “DIY Costume Squad” every other Wednesday.
Tell us in the comments what costumes you’d like to see our hosts give the DIY treatment to — we’re taking suggestions from movies, TV, video games … you name it.
