One of the myriad (and often unappreciated) benefits of technology is the ability to document all the wonderful moments in our children’s lives.
Today, for example, we can use our smartphones to film their spontaneous first steps or a GoPro to capture their first swim.
As we put more technology in dads’ hands, we get more adorable moments, like these eight heartwarming videos of fathers with their children.
1. Like father, like daughter
Forget about dad bod.
Baby bod is in, and 8-month-old Hadley knows it. Watch her flex her cannons as dad shows her the perfect form. Too bad dad can’t hold it together at the end, though.
“I think we’re done here,” Dad announces as he giggles.
2. Mountaintop proposal
When the time was right to pop the question, André headed out to a Norwegian mountain with his fiancée, Anne-Marije. Pulling off the proposal wouldn’t be a one-man job, however.
Instead, Andre enlists the help of his 5-year-old son, Kristian, who presents Anne-Marije with a wrapped engagement ring attached to a Battlestar Gallactica replica plane.
“Do you want to marry my dad?” adorable Kristian asks Anne-Marije.

3. Dad and daughter ‘Let It Go’ in the car
Ask dads around the world what they think about Frozen and you’ll hear some strong opinions on both sides of the spectrum, from the fathers who say they’ll go nuts if they have to listen to the soundtrack again to the ones who still love seeing their kids dress up as Elsa.
Dad Bill is from the camp that can’t get enough of the title track from Frozen, “Let It Go,” even though he’s probably heard the tune 4,000 times.
When Bill’s 3-year-old daughter Blakely belts out the lyrics during a car ride, he croons along with her, even if he misses a few words.
When he gets stumped, Bill steps into encourage little Blakely to hit all the high notes.
“We hit that,” he exclaims after the pair chants a verse.
4. Father/son dance-off
If your dad is a professional choreographer, you better have some slick dance moves.
Four-year-old Jayden sure does. His dad told the Herald News that Jayden has been dancing since he could crawl. You can tell in this ensemble performance with his dad, Keith, set to the song “Little Einsteins.”

5. Daddy/daughter face-off
So, your 15-month-old is on a glass table that she probably shouldn’t be standing on.
As a dad, it’s your job to safely extricate her, but what if your tyke won’t have it?
Lola is one such tot. It’s her table, and she’s having a heck of a time on it.
Watch as Lola and daddy engage in a hysterical, largely nonsensical argument about whose right it is to stand on the table.
Because of Lola’s diminutive size, you could’ve probably guessed that she wasn’t going to win this stand-off.
6. Workout time
All dads know how much time and energy it takes to raise kids.
Is there any time for a dad to exercise?
For this pop, not really, which is why he enlists his infant daughter in a makeshift living room workout.
By the end of their workout, dad and Lilly Ann are fitness pros.
If you’re a couch potato, Lilly Ann might be the motivator you’ve been looking for.
7. Proud papa
Aria had always struggled in math, failing in 2012. By the next year, however, he’d worked hard enough to achieve a passing grade.
No one was prouder of Aria’s accomplishment than his father, Farnoosh, who was moved to tears when Aria surprised him with the good news.
“Is that real? Is that real? My God” Farnoosh exclaims.
Aria says he was touched by his father’s reaction, as well by the support he received from YouTube commenters.
“It was a very important moment in my life,” Aria told Today.com. “I thought, why not share one of the happiest moments in my life with the world, so that’s why I just put it on.”
8. Daddy’s home
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, just the sound of daddy coming home.
For twin infants Anabel and Lydia, that’s more than enough to get excited about. Watch their delighted faces when dad finally walks through the door.
