His backyard was completely transformed with 6 eggs and 100 days.
What started with a handful of duck eggs buried in the yard quickly turned into sleepless nights, nonstop messes, unexpected escapes, and a much bigger project than anyone expected.
After 28 days of incubation, six tiny ducklings hatched. They started life in a temporary indoor setup, but things quickly got chaotic. Water everywhere. Constant cleaning. And apparently, ducklings are not big believers in bedtime.
As they grew, their personalities started showing.
Tank became the fearless leader everyone followed, and Daisy became the explorer who seemed determined to wander into places she definitely was not supposed to be.
Soon, the ducks were swimming, hunting for bugs, following their humans around the yard, and even climbing onto the trampoline.
But keeping them indoors was never going to last.
So the project got much bigger. He built a 16 x 16-foot outdoor enclosure with a custom pond, filtration system, waterfall, plants, nesting space, and predator protection.
Then came the moment it had all been building toward. The ducklings were finally introduced to their permanent home. They immediately took to the pond, started diving and foraging, and slowly transformed from tiny balls of fluff into fully grown ducks.
And by day 100, the journey came full circle. There were fresh eggs waiting inside their new nest.
From six eggs found in the backyard to an entire duck paradise, this was one seriously wild transformation.
Watch the full journey to see the chaos, the escapes, the build, and how these six ducklings grew up.
