Netflix Is Getting Ready For Christmas 2019
Looks like we can start preparing for the holidays now after all because Netflix has announced some exciting news!
The streaming service has officially announced a third installment in the Christmas Prince series, and funnily enough, it’s right around the time Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child.
Just like “A Christmas Prince” and its “Royal Wedding” sequel, the new installment is closely following the real American royal’s path with some exciting baby news. Netflix announced the news Monday by tweeting a promotional poster featuring a sonogram of a growing fetus — already wearing a crown.
For “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby,” official description reads: “It’s Christmastime in Aldovia–and a royal baby is on the way! Amber and Richard host royals from a faraway kingdom to renew an ancient truce, but when the priceless 600-year-old-treaty disappears, peace is put in jeopardy and an ancient curse threatens their family!”
“A Christmas Prince,” the TV movie that started it all, dropped on Netflix in late 2017, and grew to be so popular that streamer green-lit a sequel, “The Royal Wedding.” The original film follows Amber, an American journalist tasked with interviewing Richard, the soon-to-be king of Aldovia.
