Big Bird has a bright future ahead as an intern at 'Funny or Die'

When his boss says copies, he makes copies. When his boss says jump, he says, “I can’t, this breakroom is super tiny and I’m called Big Bird for a reason.”

Fresh out of PBS, Big Bird is ready to enter the real world and try his hand at his real dream: being a comedy writer.

The Sesame Street character has joined the Funny or Die team in this sketch — with a pretty sweet standing nest. He may only be 5 years old, but he seems to already be stepping up to plate by cleaning up in the kitchen and helping his bud, The Count, score a spot on the team too.

Mostly, he’s just there to learn about the industry and get some experience. But, like, can you sign this paper so he can get class credit?
