There are many benefits to running as it can transform your body and brain. First and foremost, running is a form of cardio exercise that is possibly the easiest, most accessible and most straightforward form of exercise.
Not only does it improve aerobic fitness, but running is also a great way to improve cardiovascular health. Running can also burn a lot of calories and can help with building strength and improve psychological health.
For those new to running, it may seem long and hard, but once the body becomes acclimated to it, running becomes a peaceful and enjoyable moment.
According to a study published in the journal o the American College of Sports Medicine, just 30 minutes of running, whether outside or on a treadmill, lift the mood of someone suffering from major depressive disorders.
Running also improves knew health, helping to decrease pain or osteoarthritis. Additionally, running helps people sleep better, improves their mood and increases their ability to focus.
