Lay Your Eyes On The Cutest Vegan Burger
The brand Botanist — a company that makes hair and body care products — has crossed over into cafe territory, setting up a trendy new spot in Harajuku. The cafe has become known for their Instagrammable drinks and desserts, but also for their claim to have detoxing, beautifying effects among other health benefits due to the use of superfoods and fresh ingredients.
To keep the menu fresh, Botanist changes the menu on a seasonal basis, and their newest addition, just in time for cherry blossom season, is the vegan sakura burger.
The soy patty is topped with fresh vegetables and vegan cheese, and the sakura-pink buns are naturally colored with sweet potato. The sauce is also naturally colored with beets, adding the perfect amount of spring hues into the delicious burger.
Also part of the spring lineup is the Smoothie Bonbon Sakura x Berry, which is sure to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth.
Vegan burgers are generally difficult to find in Tokyo. But thankfully, Botanist offers other seasonal items that are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free items.
The Botanist café is located Tokyo, Japan at Sukegawa Building 1F, Jingumae 6-29-2, Shibuya-ku.
The spring menu runs until May 8, so if you’re looking to celebrate spring with a healthy meal, then be sure to try the sakura burger and other sakura-inspired food items.
