Colin Hanks Celebrates Tom Hanks’ Birthday With Picture Of Michael Keaton

Tom Hanks gets a special birthday gift from his son

It’s always a fun time when a son pranks his dad for his birthday, and it’s even better when it involves To Hanks.

“Toy Story” actor Tom Hanks turned 63 years old on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, so naturally everyone wanted to wish him happy birthday, including his own son. However, Hanks’ son, Colin Hanks, celebrated he special day by seemingly wishing a happy birthday to Michael Keaton instead.

The younger Hanks wrote the message to his “Pops” on Instagram – but instead of using a photo of his actual father, he posted a photo of the “Batman” actor. “Wanna wish a Happy 63rd Birthday to my dad!!!” the younger Hanks wrote. “He’s a good man with a great sense of humor. Love ya Pops!”

Posting photos of Keaton on special occasions has been an ongoing prank for the younger Hanks. The 41-year-old developed a liking for using photos of Keaton, but has yet to let fans in on the joke with his dad.
The elder Hanks and Keaton voiced characters together in “Toy Story 3” in 2010 and both gained fame for starring in a number of comedy films throughout the 1980s.

And for those wondering when Keaton’s actual birthday is, it’s Sept. 5 when he’ll turn 68.
