This is probably heaven for chocolate lovers!
For $21.99, Costco cardholders can purchase a 6.6-pound tub of Nutella Hazelnut spread at stores throughout the US. A standard jar of Nutella has 7.7 ounces of creamy hazelnut spread inside. The standard serving size for Nutella is 2 tablespoons… so depending on how much Nutella you like… Costco’s tub is more than three times the size of Costco’s other large-size jar, which has 33.5 ounces of Nutella.
Choclate lovers can also buy the tub of Nutella online via the Costco website, however buyers will have to pay an extra $3 delivery fee. Costco does not require a membership to shop online, but a membership is necessary to access two-day delivery.
For those who may not know (even though you really should), Nutella is a brand of chocolate spread that is flavored with hazelnut and cocoa solids. The brand is manufactured by the Italian company Ferrero and was first introduced in 1965.
With a huge tub of Nutella, the possibilities for recipes are endless because the famous hazelnut-chocolate spread stars in so many sweet desserts, like cakes, pies and crepes.
With a tub of Nutella as big as the one Costco is selling, you’ll definitely have enough hazelnut -chocolate spread to try out plenty of desserts for a couple of months!
