Disney World Features A New Themed Bar
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is getting two new additions this year, one of which will appeal to the kids and the other which is solely for adults.
In February, Disney Parks Blog announced a new Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique location at the venue’s spa this summer, as well as a Beauty and the Beast-themed bar and lounge coming to the resort this fall.
The new bar will be taking over Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s, and will have four distinct spaces all of which will be inspired by the movie. The main attraction will be the massive chandelier hovering over the main bar, which is a nod to both Belle’s famous yellow ball gown and the Beast’s enchanted rose.
The bar will also include nods to the Beast’s friends, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Cogsworth and more.
There will be a “formal library” space decorated to look like the one in the Beast’s castle; a garden room that will serve as the enchanted forest replica; and an outdoor patio meant to recreate the Beast’s garden terrace.
But probably the best news for adults about this new attraction is that they don’t need a ticket to visit. Since it’s located at a Disney property, visitors can right over and grab a drink after a long day at any of the parks.
