If you are looking to re-create the path of the Sanderson Sisters, the town suggests stopping outside of the Phillips Elementary School building, which quit functioning as a school in 1992. Then, head to the Ropes Mansion, which played the part of Allison‘s house. Follow that with a stop at the Old Town Hall, where Bette Midler famously sings her rendition of “Put a Spell on You.“

Pay a visit to Old Burial Hill in neighboring Marblehead, Massachusetts. All the graveyard scenes were shot here, and it also happens to be one of the oldest graveyards in New England. Finally, one must visit the Salem Common, which was the backdrop for many of the film’s outdoor scenes. You can even watch a special screening of the film there on October 29.
