Fans in Las Vegas went wild when they got a huge surprise on Saturday night during Lady Gaga’s performance. Bradley Cooper came out on stage to perform a surprise duet with her of “Shallow” from their film “A Star is Born,” which is up for best original song at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24.
The two embraced and Cooper followed Gaga to the piano.
“I even got you in-ears,” Gaga told Cooper of the monitors used during live stage performances, to which Copper jokingly replied, “I can’t hear anything.”
In “A Star is Born,” Cooper stars as fictional country singer Jackson Maine, who discovers and falls in love with a young singer named Ally, whom he takes his under his wing as a performer.
The film has been nominated for eight Oscar awards, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and cinematography. Cooper is up for Best Actor while Gaga is up for Best Actress.
On another note, Gaga’s show grabbed headlines before, where just last week, the singer slammed President Trump midway through her 2016 hit “Million Reasons” for the continued government shutdown. During Saturday’s performance, she took another stab at the president before covering David Bowie’s “I’m Afraid of Americans.”
