Lucky Charms Beer Set To Launch This Weekend

Are you a fan of Lucky Charms? Do you love it so much that you want the marshmallowy cereal taste in your beer?

Well good news cereal fans because Smartmouth Brewing Company announced it would be releasing a new IPA made with marshmallows Saturday. Called the Saturday Morning Marshmallow IPA, the beer will be on tap and in cans and available in its Norfolk, Va., tasting room on March 2 in an all-day event that will also feature trivia and other food vendors.

“Join us as we flashback to those Saturday Mornings when you rolled out of bed and were lazy all morning watching your favorite cartoons and playing video or board games. We’ll celebrate those mornings with the release of Saturday Morning IPA that is made with pounds of marshmallows, some of which we toasted, along with tropical fruity Calypso hops. The result is magically ridiculous,” Smartmouth Beer said in a Facebook post.

Saturday Morning is 6.6 percent alcohol by volume and was brewed with toasted marshmallows and dehydrated marshmallow bits, according to Smartmouth Brewing. It’s a “limited release beer,” so if you want to get your hands on a can, then make sure you don’t miss the brewery’s upcoming event.
