Marvel Phase 4 Is In The Works
“Avengers: Endgame” marked the end for a lot of our beloved superheroes as well as Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it also marked the beginning of a transition into Phase 4 of the MCU, and in light of what is to come, Marvel revealed that there will be eight new movie release dates through 2022.
Post Endgame, fans now have their first real idea of what the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to look like in a world after some of the main Avengers are no longer in the picture. Disney and Marvel Studios have been particularly secretive about revealing anything regarding their future MCU movie. “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” which arrives on July 2, has been confirmed.
Disney has updated their release calendar through 2027 and, within that, they revealed what can only be assumed is the release schedule for Marvel Phase 4 of the MCU. Although the studios have released little information on the coming movies, fans do know that there are some heroes they will see again.
Black Widow seems to be the next movie scheduled to enter production. Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role in what will likely be a prequel.
Fans have also been informed of “The Eternals” and “Doctor Strange 2.” Shang-Chi, which will have a martial arts spin, is also in development.
Other projects like “Black Panther 2” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” have been more or less confirmed despite the lack of an official announcement. Fans can also expect a “Captain Marvel 2.”
