Renowned Author, Columnist, & Activist Owen Jones Talks Success at Such a Young Age
By the age of 30 most of us are just starting to settle into the rigamarole of “real life”, we’ve got our jobs, families, and we we’re working towards making something of ourselves. This is certainly not the case for one globally renowned author and columnist; Owen Jones. At the tender age of 30 Owen has already published two wildly successful books (Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class and The Establishment: And How They Get Away With It), been a columnist at two major publications (The Guardian and The Independent), and is considered a leading democratic political activist. In this clip Owen is chatting with Richard Bacon on spreading his ideas to the world and his thoughts on the celebrity status that’s sometimes associated with him. Owen also offer up a little tour of The Guardian publications office and delves into what has made him a success thus far in life, oddly enough, he credits “accidents” for the majority of his notoriety.
