Baby Changing Station Finally Arrive In Men’s Restrooms
When dealing with a baby, it’s not always the mother’s job to look after the child, especially when it comes to changing diapers. As the father, men also have the responsibility to change diapers, but due to a lack of changing stations, men sometimes have to get creative with where and how they change their child’s undergarments.
Well, as the famous meme goes “modern problems require modern solutions,” and Pampers is pledging to do just that. The company announced that it was starting an initiative to install 5,000 changing tables in men’s restrooms across the U.S. and Canada. The announcement comes on the heels of Pampers’ new ad campaign, which encourages fathers to share moments with their child during a diaper change.
Partnering with changing table company Koala Kare, the initiative would start installs with “high-need locations,” many of which will be in public spots such as parks and libraries. It is expected that 500 locations will see new baby changing stations within the next few weeks.
Pampers celebrity spokesperson and father of two John Legend, appeared in a Pampers video in which the company “recognizes dads are more hands-on than ever and wants to help enable them to take the best care of their babies while on diaper duty!”
