Tis The Season For Limited Edition Oreos

There are lots of different Oreo flavors out there, but probably the one we are most excited for is the Peppermint Bark Oreo. Yes, it’s still August, so you may be thinking it’s a little premature to be thinking of Christmas already, but then again, is it ever too early to think of the wonderfully festive holiday season? We already have a Maple Crème Oreo hitting shelves this fall.

For those who have never had the pleasure of biting into one of the delicious sandwich cookies, the Peppermint Bark Oreo is a classic Oreo cookie with peppermint-flavored creme and red “crunchy sugar crystals.”

To hype up the excitement for the cookie’s comeback even further, it was announced that Oreo is partnering with Netflix for some sort of Christmas movie. The details revealed are still minimal, but reported packaging shows the cookie labeled with a Netflix logo and “Klaus.”

It was later reported that Netflix is currently developing its first-ever animated feature called “Klaus.”
Peppermint Bark Oreos were previously available for purchase at Target and Walmart, among other retailers, so they’ll most likely be back at the same stores come winter. Just make sure to keep an eye out at your local retailer next time you’re going grocery shopping.
