The bigger the game, the better!
Slated to welcome its first visitors in June 2019, Monopoly Dreams will be the world’s first-ever themed attraction inspired by the famous board game. Located in Hong Kong, Monopoly Dreams will take guests inside Mr. Monopoly’s 20,000-square-foot mansion where iconic game elements are incorporated throughout.
The railroads, waterworks, jail cell, and even the “chance” and “opportunity” cards play a role as guests help solve the case at hand: a mysterious man who is attempting to steal Mr. Monopoly’s diamond scepter.
Making the game even more of a realistic experience is augmented reality technology and 4D interactive projections.
Monopoly Dreams will be located at The Peak, Hong Kong’s iconic destination with views over the city. The location itself is symbolic because the first Chinese version of Monopoly was designed around the city of Hong Kong with The Peak being the most expensive property in some editions.
The Peak is one of the city’s prime residential areas occupied by the rich and famous and has the best vantage point to overlook the city’s beautiful skyline.
Aside from partaking in a fun game, visitors can enjoy Monopoly-themed snacks and gather souvenirs before exploring Hong Kong’s impressive The Peak Galleria.
