Many people get to work and aren’t quite ready to take on the day. Waiting to do your work later in the day has been proven to be a mistake. There is a best time in the day to get stuff done. Besides being tired and a little out of it in the mornings, this is the best time to get your work done and is when you will be in the best mood.
All of those good-vibes in the morning come to an abrupt stop at around 12pm. So schedule those important meetings and phone calls in the mornings. This way you are less likely to catch someone in a bad mood.
Your response time is also a little quicker and you are more accurate in the morning. Who knew you were actually a morning person without even feeling like one. Do all of the more difficult and or daunting tasks in the morning when you are at your best, this way, when you are tired in the afternoon you can focus on the easier and not so draining tasks.
Once 12pm hits, take a lunch break. Make sure you are filling it with food and not work though. It is important to give your brain a break so when you come back, you are ready to take on the rest of your day.
