Have you ever wondered whether or not your favorite space or sci-fi movie was actually good? Well, take if from NASA whether or not these space-themed movies are actually good or not. A few females NASA scientists weigh-in on the topic:

Gravity had some funny responses to it. One scientist wondered, during the scene where Sandra Bullock is in her underwear, “wheres the diaper?” That’s quite funny, but in actuality, astronauts where diapers while in the ship.

Hidden Figures was a favorite among the scientists, because the women were pioneers in their field.

One scientist said, thank goodness for Apollo 13, because without that movie, “it would be really hard to explain what my job is.”

Martian with Matt Damon also got good reviews because it shows where we are headed in the field and also portrays accurately how hard it really is.
