This Hammock Bathtub Is Everything

There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day, when you’re tired and your body is sore, and you jump into a nice warm bath. Maybe you have some music playing, some candles lit, or perhaps you have your favorite TV show streaming on your tablet…either way, baths are extremely relaxing. But, if your tub is too small or not the right shape, it can ruin what is supposed to be a peaceful experience.

Enter the hammock bathtub…yes, it’s a hammock and it’s a bathtub and you should probably invest in it if you’re a bath lover. Furniture makers Splinterworks created the “hammock bath,” and for it we are grateful. It’s as simple as it sounds…the tub is made of carbon fiber can suspends from two walls. Of course, like any good hammock, the tub does not touch the floor, leaving the occupant suspended and relaxed in a cocoon of warm water. The tub can be between 8.5 and 10 feet long, and you can use any faucet to fill it up. There is a release spout on the bottom where you can drain the water when finished, just like a real bathtub.

Still not convinced? Next time you try and squeeze into your small shower/tub, think about taking that bath in a luxurious hammock of warm water!
