Tom Brady's son dabbed when he caught a touchdown pass from dad

The age-old practice of playing catch with dad takes on a different meaning when you’re John Brady, the son of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

The senior Brady is currently suspended from professional football and not allowed to visit team facilities. But that didn’t stop father and son from visiting the University of Michigan — Tom’s alma mater — to toss the pigskin around on a real football field.

When the 9-year-old Brady ran to the end zone and snatched his dad’s lobbed pass out of the air, he did what any self-respecting NFL player would do: he celebrated.

John dabbed. It’s a quick, subtle maneuver that likely wouldn’t have drawn a penalty in a real-deal NFL game. It’s also more flash than his dad has ever shown on his rare trips to the end zone.

Tom has to sit out two more games after the Patriots’ Sunday showdown with the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 18. He’ll reclaim his crown from fill-in QB Jimmy Garoppolo for the team’s Oct. 9 bout against the Cleveland Browns.
