The Next Zombie Movie Coming Soon
Get ready for a fun-filled movie with plenty of action and hilarity!
Bill Murray, Adam Driver, and Chloe Sevigny are bespectacled unite to defend their quirky small town from zombies in the first trailer for “The Dead Don’t Die,” the upcoming horror-comedy from filmmaker Jim Jarmusch.
“In this peaceful town, on these quiet streets, something terrifying, something horrifying is coming,” a voiceover says, followed by the town’s small diner getting invaded by the undead. “This is really awful, maybe the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” Murray’s horrified deputy notes upon arriving on the scene. Driver dismisses the theory of a wild animal attack, suggesting a more sinister alternative: “I’m thinking zombies — you know, the undead. Ghouls.”
As the trailer reveals, the zombies integrate themselves into the everyday lives of the townspeople, participating in activities that they enjoyed when they were alive, drinking cups of coffee or enjoying a glass of chardonnay.
The trailer also features cameos Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, Danny Glover, Selena Gomez and Steve Buscemi. The star-studded cast includes Rosie Perez, Carol Kane, RZA, Austin Butler, Luke Sabbat, Sarah Driver, and Caleb Landry Jones.
“The Dead Don’t Die” is Jarmusch’s first project since his 2016 documentary on the Stooges, “Gimme Danger,” and will be released in theaters on June 14th.
