K-Pop Group Super Junior Is Back
It’s been years since K-pop fans last saw Super Junior together as one full group, but it looks like all the waiting will come to an end because the long-standing group is aiming to make a full group comeback in 2019.
On April 14, Super Junior D&E held a press conference in light of their new mini album ‘Danger,’ and solo concert ‘Super Junior D&E Concert ‘The D&E.’
As reported by allkpop, Eunhyuk, a member of Super Junior and the sub-group D&E, stated, “We’re here with a new album following our last one in August. We had various activities from Super Junior’s world tour and more. We worked on the new album in between while giving up sleep. We wanted to greet fans as fast as we can. Also, Kyuhyun is getting discharged from the military soon. (That means) we have to work on Super Junior’s album so, in order to fit the schedule, we came out earlier than expected. It was a tight schedule but we filled the album with good songs.”
Super Junior, also known as SJ or SUJU, is a South Korean boy band formed back in November of 2005 under the label SM Entertainment. The group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak. Super Junior’s current members consist of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. After releasing their best-selling single “Sorry, Sorry” in 2009 is when they started to gain international recognition.
